Good friend and sterling movie viewer was emphatic that Ronin has one of the greatest car chase scenes in movie history. Naturally I am skeptical. So we will just see about SS’s statement and make him put his money where his mouth is.

Pish. Bullit’s chase through the streets of San Francisco remains immortalized as the “Greatest Movie Chase Seen.”
Though, I will admit, Ronin’s chase is fantastic.

I was thinking along those same lines particularly when you factor in the different levels of technology available to the movie makers; that is, the boys who made the Steve McQueen film had to make do with less yet still produced a legendary chase scene.
